The Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Nanyang Girls’ High School Building Extension Project was held on 9 Jan 2015.

Based on the “Returning the Green” design concept, the three-storey Academic Block and the Indoor Sports Hall (ISH) Block will each have accessible roof terraces that are joined to the school field and projected as an extension of the field.  This concept preserves the existing façade of the school. In addition, an Activity Hall in the basement floor will be built between the two blocks. 

With this extension, the school will enjoy the addition of 13 classrooms, a performing arts centre and a music room in the Academic Block, as well as a multi-purpose room and an indoor sports hall in the ISH Block.

Students can look forward to the added facilities by end of 2016.
